Lane Wolfenbarger

Lane Wolfenbarger is a member of the firm and serves as the managing member of the firm’s East, Tennessee office and currently serves as the General Sessions and Juvenile Court Judge for Grainger County, Tennessee. Given the population of Grainger County, however, Mr. Wolfenbarger is afforded by statute the opportunity to continue practicing law.

Mr. Wolfenbarger has been in private practice in and around East Tennessee since 1997 and has extensive civil litigation experience. Mr. Wolfenbarger routinely represents large corporations, including regional, national and international companies, in litigated matters. Mr. Wolfenbarger’s practice is primarily devoted to commercial truck and auto accident claims, premises liability claims, general negligence claims, construction defect claims and banking law.

Mr. Wolfenbarger is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Nashville School of Law. He is licensed to practice in all Tennessee state and appellate courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Knoxville Bar Association, and Grainger County Bar Association.

Originally from Grainger County, Mr. Wolfenbarger currently lives in Blaine, Tennessee with his wife and son.  Mr. Wolfenbarger is very active in his community, in 2022 he was appointed to serve on the executive committee of the Tennessee Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, he is the former City Attorney for the City of Blaine, Tennessee.  Mr. Wolfenbarger serves on the Board of Directors for Douglas Cherokee Economic Authority, Volunteer Housing Development Corporation, and Grainger County Little League.  He is also a Deacon at Rutledge Baptist Church, a mentor to high school students, and a coach of youth sports, having previously coached youth baseball, basketball and flag football.
